Cognitive Leap Suite
Cognitive Leap is the educational arm of AICoevolution — a free suite of classroom instruments that make a student's thinking visible, so AI can join the classroom as a second lane alongside human teaching, never a replacement for it.
The idea
When AI does the thinking for us, the thinking muscle quietly atrophies: the more it does for us, the less we practise. Cognitive Leap is built for the opposite outcome. Every instrument in the suite measures something about a student's own work — the shape of their writing, the accuracy of their ear, the names they give to harmony — and hands the result back as feedback. The technology measures; teachers and coaches decide what it means. That is education for human–AI coevolution: adopting advanced cognitive tools in ways that sharpen human traits instead of replacing them.
Three operating principles hold across the whole suite:
- Two lanes, not a replacement. Human teaching leads; AI runs alongside, making thinking visible and giving feedback.
- It measures; people judge. No instrument ever stamps a grade on a student. Human coaches and teachers read the diagnostics and do the teaching.
- Free for schools. No software licence, ever.
The instruments
| Subject | Instrument | What it makes visible |
|---|---|---|
| Writing | Through-Line | How an idea moves through meaning in a student's own writing |
| Music | Voices | How the voices of a score move — heard, isolated, and discussed |
| Music | Analysis | Harmony named beat by beat, checked against a reference reading |
A third music module, Dictation (write what you hear), is in development.
Access model
Instruments are gated by access codes tied to a curated collection — an institution-specific set of assignments, scores, and levels managed by the platform. Coaches sign in with a per-code PIN to set quizzes and read student work. Students never create accounts and no label is ever stamped on a child.
